Bonjour,

Ayant frequemment des messages de ce style :
open /dev/sequencer: No such device
je me suis intéressé à ce pb. Je suis sous sid avec un noyau 2.6.17.13
recompilé. Ce device existe bel et bien ds /dev. ms j'ai tjs cette
erreur. En googlelisant j'ai trouvé que ce /dev/sequencer sert pour le
MIDI. Je me suis dc demandé si je pouvais lire un fichier MIDI...et là
impossible d'y arriver...avec playmidi ou aplaymidi.

je me demande dc si cela ne vient pas de mon noyau. Voilà ce que j'ai ds

À moins d'avoir une carte son qui gère le format midi, il faut installer
un support logiciel. Pour ma part j'utilise timidity et freepats ce qui
est suffisant pour l'usage que je fais des fichiers midi, ouïr les
mélodieuses mélopées de certains sites web.
